The idea to build the Hotel Villa Lumbung originated from the need to find the right place for close friends, who make the long journey from the west, and who wish to find the best accommodation with an exotic flair.

The special shape of the grass-roof villas is derived from the typical Balinese "Lumbung".

The upper part of this center hut of each family compound serves as a rice barn, while the lower floor - an elevated sitting area ("Balé") - is used as a meeting place.

Guests will find all the best comforts and services ensured by a well trained house-hold staff.
